The Goodwood Revival is a magical step back in time, a unique chance to revel in the glamour & allure of motor racing in the romantic time capsule of the golden era of motor racing at one of the world’s most authentic circuits. The Revival is the world’s most popular historic motor race meeting & the only event of its kind to be staged entirely in the nostalgic time capsule of the 1940s, 50s & 60s that relives the glory days of Goodwood Motor Circuit. It is the biggest & best historic motor racing party of the year. This means that the majority of visitors wear appropriate period clothing & no modern vehicles are allowed within the circuit perimeter throughout the weekend.

The circuit echoes to the spine-tingling bark of golden-age Grand Prix cars from the 50’s & 60’s, thundering sports & GT cars as well as historic saloon cars & little-seen Formula Juniors. The Revival offers visitors the opportunity to leave the ‘modern world’ behind & join motor sport luminaries including Sir Stirling Moss, Richard Attwood, John Surtees & Derek Bell in an unabashed celebration of flat-out wheel-to-wheel racing around a classic racetrack, untouched by the modern world.

There are also theatrical sets that bring the past back to life & a celebration of aviation heritage with some stunning aerial manoeuvres throughout the skies above this WWII former aerodrome. You can also see a fantastic selection of rarely-seen pre-1966 aircraft on static display in the Freddie March ‘Spirit of Aviation’.

We have hired our very own Vintage Bus to be our ‘hospitality unit’ from which you can enjoy a ‘champagne’ buffet lunch & later a Cream Tea to revive you from the Revival!
