Peter and Cheryl met in July. "I had been to four evenings which were quite enjoyable but there were no fireworks" says Peter "until Cheryl came along and I couldn't keep my eyes off her all evening!..." Luckily, Cheryl returned his ardour and three months later she accepted Peter's proposal. This Valentines Day the couple will be celebrating a deux - Dinner Dates has served Cupid's purpose.
"After working all day it is nice to go out to dinner and meet new people instead of staying at home and watching T.V. I feel this is a very protected way of meeting new people," said Susannah. "There are no strings, no compromising moments and you can have a very pleasant time - even if you don't meet Mr Right!"

Between Courses all the men were moved to pre assigned places on other tables so that, by the end of the evening, everyone had been seated next to four members of the opposite sex. There have been numerous Dinner Dates weddings since the company started.
"Because I work so hard, it's difficult to meet women...Last year I decided to join Dinner Dates, the up-market introduction agency...I had a very relaxing, pleasant evening and even made friends with a psychiatrist whom I have seen a couple of times since."
Hillie Marshall has a cheerful philosophy: "I believe that the more people you meet, the more likely you are to find a partner."
