What are Dinner Dates events like?
The first thing is that we provide events to remember - ones that you'll look forward to and look back on as special occasions. Our dinner parties, black-tie balls and buffets are held in well-known, fashionable restaurants, hotels and exclusive private members' clubs. They all provide a high standard of food and service, and most have live music or a disco for those who want to dance
Why should I join Dinner Dates?
Variety - once you're a member, you can attend as many functions as you like. Meeting people - equal numbers of men and women at each dinner event. Personal service - you'll be greeted personally at each event, made to feel welcome and introduced to your fellow guests. The Dinner Dates host is there to make sure that everyone has a great time and deal with any queries. Security - our format provides peace of mind. We never release any of our members' details unless they tell us to. Discretion - if we leave a message for you it will be to call back a member of our staff by individual name and telephone number. No mention of Dinner Dates is ever made, and we never identify ourselves as Dinner Dates when we answer our office telephone calls.
How many events can I attend as a non-member?
A non-member can attend up to 2 events and then become a member in order to attend to more.
How many events can I attend as a member?
You may attend to all of our events without any restrictions. You will have unlimited access to all of the events.
How many members attend your events?
Our numbers vary, however, for dinner bookings, the group is usually of 10-15 people, and for drinks parties the group tends to be 30 or more people.
What is the age of your members?
Members are normally between 45-65 years old, however we do have members attending outside that age range.
Can I bring a friend to a function?
Yes, you may add a friend to your booking at a non-member rate.
I am scared of attending an event on my own, what happens when I arrive?
We have one or two hosts that will welcome you and introduce you to our members, you will feel really welcomed by the group and quickly meet others.
Where are your events held?
Most of our events are held in central London, full event details and directions are sent the day before the event.
What happens if I wish to exchange contacts with a member?
If you are a member you can request another member's contact via the call center. We will ask for permission to supply you the preferred contact details or simply send your number to the member you wish to get in touch with.
I have dietary requirements can I still attend a dinner?
Yes, once you purchase a ticket online, you will be able to specify what are your dietary requirement. Then we will send your dietary requirements to the restaurant and they will cater to your needs.
I am a female non-member, why can't I book online?
Female spaces tend to sell out really quick and unfortunately if you are not yet a member you will have to give us a call to complete your booking or to be added to a waiting list when we are fully booked.
